Welcome to FIREFLY!  Join us June 26-27, 2010 at our beautiful, custom-designed grounds adjacent to the award-winning Renaissance Center in Dickson, TN, just 30 miles west of Nashville.  The Firefly Fine Arts Festival is a juried fine art and fine craft festival produced through a collaborative effort of Community Arts Development of Dickson County, The Renaissance Center, and the Tennessee Arts Commission.  This two-day festival provides an opportunity to not only purchase amazing original art, but to interact with the creative minds that produce the work, all while enjoying performances throughout the day; children’s activities; diverse and local food and beverage vendors; demonstrations of artists at work; and much more throughout the weekend.  Admission is free and there is plenty of on-site parking for only $3 a car load, so bring the family and create memories at FIREFLY!   The Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) will host an interactive Ecosystem Services Conference. A New Generation: Strategies for Managing Corporate and Public Lands. The Conference aims to educate WHC members and other corporate and conservation partners on the connections between habitat management, biodiversity conservation, and sustainability with ecosystem service-based strategies.

The Gatlinburg Fine Arts Festival (GFAF) is a family-oriented event that features quality artists from around the country, delicious cuisine, and music. Volunteers from the community produce the festival to benefit the Sevier County Arts Council and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, an internationally recognized visual arts center, providing creative experiences year round. The Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge-Jr. Duck Stamp Art Contest judging will be taking place on March 31, 2010. The judging panel consists of 5 judges, and I will be the Wildlife Artist judge. This competition covers the State of Tennessee and the winning artist will be announced. The Tennessee State-Jr. Duck Stamp winner will have their artwork entered into the Federal Jr.Duck Stamp competition. I am looking forward to meeting with the judge panel, and all the folks that put on this very important contest each year for these children. Spend an evening, Friday, March 26, 2010 with over 40 nationally and internationally recognized Artists specializing in wildlife art, and participate in the annual Silent Auction fundraiser. Tickets for the reception are $40.00/person advanced or $45.00/person at the door. The Saturday and Sunday Art Show and Sale is free and open to the public. The Wildlife Habitat Council's 21st Annual Symposium will be held at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in Baltimore, Maryland on November 9-10 in 2009. I have donated an original painting that will be auctioned during this Symposium. I hope that everyone will attend this event with open hearts and show support for our Wildlife here in America as well as in the World. Due to prior engagements, I will not be attending this event but wish much success for the raising of funds for Conservation.

One of the midwest's biggest gathering of professional duck callers, duck call makers, and sporting goods. Several professional Duck Calling Champions will be present with exhibitions, calling, and much more fun for both the hunter as well as family members. I will be there with a full display of original paintings as well as several prints that are both framed and unframed. Stop by my booth and say hello if you can make this show. I will see you there!

One of the biggest art events in the Eastern half of the United States. Artists will be here from all over America to sell and exhibit their works. A juried show will be held on Friday Oct. 16 at 3:00pm. All exhibitors must have their work entered before then. I placed third in the "feathers" division last year, and will enter new artwork in the 2009 show.

A showcase of some of the finest Wildlife artists, photographers, and crafters, all gathering in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains for a 2 day Festival. The Wildlife & Nature Festival and Expo is promoted, both regionally and nationally in mulitple magazines, journals, and newspapers. Festival brochures will be positioned in all Georgia Welcome Centers, as well as selected Welcome Centers in Tennessee. I am awaiting acceptance to this show.
